Construction of Brent Cross West station will help to unlock plans for a new town centre for north west London currently being developed by Argent and the council.
Work has already begun on site with associated rail works and the appointment of VolkerFitzpatrick will allow main station works to get underway in May with a target completion date of Spring 2022.
The station will be built next the Brent Cross Shopping centre in North London, where plans to enlarge the centre are presently on hold.
The Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme will deliver 7,500 new homes, more than 3m sq ft of workspace, up to 27,000 new jobs, new and improved schools and parks and the new station which will link to central London in under 15 minutes.
