A 30-strong team from Mace will work on the job alongside main contractor VolkerFitzpatrick who started on site earlier this year

Mace said: “At Brent Cross West, Mace has been brought in to manage a broad scope of activities associated with the station’s development, including: the relocation of existing rail operations offices and welfare facilities; the realignment of existing railway and creation of railway sidings; and the construction of the new five-platform railway station at Brent Cross West.

“As project manager for the scheme, Mace will also be responsible for overseeing all planning, integration and construction; implementing of a programme controls function; securing and issuing all notices and approvals; assurance of contractor performance; and commercial and contract management.”

Councillor Daniel Thomas, Leader of Barnet Council, said:  “We are pleased to be working with Mace to project manage the station programme through to completion in 2022 when the new Brent Cross West Station will connect both new and existing communities to the heart of London in under 15 minutes.”
