Work is due to start on site in December on the new Helena Romanes School, subject to planning approval next month.
The Barking-based contractor will design and build the 2,000 pupil school, designed by architect Bond Bryan.
The greenfield project will involve a two-form entry 420-pupil primary, a 9-form entry 1,350-pupil secondary and a 250-pupil sixth form, sports pitches including an all-weather astro turf pitch.
Under the proposed phasing the primary school will be opened in September 2021.
The secondary school will open in September 2022, with the whole school transferring from the existing site.
Mid Group is using an optimized component led approach (OCLA) to deliver the project utilising Modern Methods of Construction and Modular Offsite solutions, wherever possible.
The building design is broken down into the minimum number of repeatable components – 16 key components to deliver around 90% of the school.
This repetitive use of componentry reduces both manufacturing and installation cost due to speed and efficiency.
