Former Persimmon CEO Jeff Fairburn occupies the same role at Berkeley DeVeer and will become Chairman of Avant Homes.
Avant Homes is a £446m turnover business directly employing 106 people with 60 live developments across the Midlands, Yorkshire, North East England and Scotland.
Latest accounts for Berkeley DeVeer show a turnover of £28m for the year to March 31 2020 while the company employed 32 people.
Berkeley DeVeer currently operates across Yorkshire and the North East of England.
Under its new ownership, Avant Homes will continue to be led by the existing management team.
Fairburn was forced to step down at Persimmon in 2018 following controversy over his bonus payment of £75m.
