Mace tops May contracts league

The award of the £570m HS2 Birmingham Curzon Street station set the top two places in the May contracts league.

Mace swung into pole position as two other jobs lifted its total wins to £443m during the month, while Dragados came second with its 50% share of the big HS2 station contract.

Mace’s other projects were the £120m Paddington Triangle office development above the West London station taxi ramp and Nottingham’s Unity Square building fit-out for the tax office.

In the 12-month rolling league, Winvic maintained its top spot securing £60m project colossus – a major warehouse parcel hub for Hermes, according to data collected by information specialist Barbour ABI.
