Costain has appointed a new commercial director at its Highways team.

Matthew Bines has joined Costain from Morgan Sindall’s infrastructure division.

Bines said: “When I decided I was ready for my next professional challenge, Costain really caught my eye – as a business, Costain is responsive to the needs of the market, offering its clients a blend of consultancy, digital and complex programme delivery services.

“This integrated offer and cross-sector experience make Costain the natural partner of choice throughout the lifecycle of a project. I’m really looking forward to further developing myself in this role.”
