The Enquirer understands Savory will take up his new role next month.
He stepped down from the helm at BAM Nuttall last September after just 16 months in the top job following a 26-year career with the contractor.
Savory will be responsible for managing Murphy’s major projects, and will focus on securing future strategic projects for the company.
He will also join Murphy’s UK Operations Board, and will be based at the company’s London office in Kentish Town.
Nick Fletcher, Murphy managing director UK said: “We are delighted to welcome Adrian to Murphy to lead our Major Projects business. Adrian brings a wealth of industry experience and he will be a great addition to the team.”
