Amalgamated Construction, Eurovia Infrastructure, Kier Construction, and Network Plus Services are understood to have secured the lot for vital capital infrastructure services for Manchester Airport.
Winners of the remaining 11 lots for the £700m framework are set to be formally unveiled shortly, with BAM and Vinci and Bowmer & Kirkland among those hoping for places.
These have been split into two regions: northern – Manchester airport – and southern airports – East Midlands and London Stansted Airports. There are work lots for civils, building and fit-out, and refurbishment covering mid sized projects and major projects of £10m plus.
The next-generation framework was first put out to tender three years ago, but was delayed because of the pandemic and retendered.
The new Major Capital Works Framework will initially run for five years with an option to extend for a further three years.
