The operator has revealed it is preparing to begin procurement of a new £60m finger pier for terminal 2 before the end of the year.
Forming part of phase two of the airport redevelopment plan, the new 210m three-storey high pier will offer 10 new departure gates and six airport nodes with fixed link bridges.
A 20-month construction programme will get underway in the second quarter of 2023.
MAG is also on the hunt for structural steelwork contractors for plans to reconfigure terminal 2.
It is tendering a £6m package of work that involves removal of some existing structures and installing of new steelwork.
