The latest numbers for the year ended 31 March 2022 will now be reported on May 30 and not today as previously stated.

In a last-minute Stock Exchange announcement yesterday Speedy Hire said: “The company’s auditor, KPMG LLP has today requested additional time to finalise their audit process and internal review procedures.

“KPMG has not raised any issues to management in respect of the accounts or corporate governance processes. The company is both frustrated and disappointed with the last minute delay.

“The company continues to expect to report results in line with its expectations on 30 May 2022.”
