Corker will join Skanska later this month and brings more than 20 years’ experience in rail and civil engineering, most recently with Morgan Sindall where he was Area Director responsible for all Network Rail and third-party rail projects.

Corker has held operational management positions since 2015.
Notable projects that he has delivered in these roles include the Werrington Grade Separation, a £169m design and build dive under scheme on the east coast mainline; the Edinburgh Glasgow Improvement Programme (EGIP) – a £200m electrification programme including the EGIP Alliance and Stirling, Dunblane, Alloa (SDA) electrification – and Kings Cross remodelling, a £259m throat remodelling project in the heart of an operational Kings Cross Station.
Other large infrastructure programmes that Corker has led include Ilford depot for Crossrail and Reading Depot for Network Rail on the Reading Station Area Regeneration programme.
In addition to his work in the rail sector, Corker has been responsible for operations in the highways, power, nuclear and water sectors.
