The privately run prison is managed by Onley Prison Services Limited and operated by G4S Care & Justice Services Limited, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

Rye Hill is a category B men’s prison housing sex offenders near Rugby. It was built by Carillion and opened in 2001.
