The firm has set a path of both regional and project diversification helping revenue to rise from £25m to £65m in the year to March 2022. 

Pre-tax profit also rose in step with turnover to £1.46m as operating margin hovered around 2.2%.

Founded in 2016, RED Construction Group has grown from its London base delivering building projects typically from £5m to £45m, to set up a south west region operating out of Bristol.

In the past financial year, the firm set up RED Special Projects, to deliver smaller building projects valued from £100k to £7m. 

It also set up One MEP to provide integrated services from traditional installation works through to self delivery, including full design.

The growth has seen average headcount rise from 40 to around 100 staff.

Chief executive Graham Sturge said: “It has been a milestone year and a period of huge growth.

“We’ve increased the size of the business and built company longevity with the implementation of key regional operating divisions, while going back to our roots with the creation of the dedicated RED Special Projects team.

“We continue to build on our solid foundations and in line with our strategic growth plan, we have consolidated our position this year, with a secured order book for year ending 2023, forecasting revenues of £70m.”
