Updated plans for Talbot Mill in Castlefield have been approved by Manchester City Council and now the team are looking to speak to contractors, with a view to work starting on site later this year.
Work will deliver 190 one and two-bedroom homes across both the historic mill and a neighbouring new build 10-storey apartment block.
Adam Higgins, Co-founder of Capital&Centric, said: “Talbot Mill is one of Manchester’s biggest untouched historic mills and we know it’s got loads of potential. Approval for the tweaked plans mean we can crack on and start lining up contractors to begin work on site.
“The Talbot community will have a mix of design-led new builds and loft apartments in the historic mill, all centred around a courtyard garden where residents can spend time together.”
The team is looking to speak with main contractors interested in getting involved in the project.
