Work on transforming the eight acre site will start this month.
Once completed by the end of next year the site will be home to a five unit industrial and logistics scheme ranging in size from 12,905 to 52,250 sq ft.
The scheme is being marketed as “Access @ Eastern Gateway, Ipswich” and will complement the existing units already developed on site for Amazon and La Doria.
Greg Dalton, Development Director for Trebor said: “Ipswich is a key industrial and logistics hub in the east of England and we’re delighted to have worked closely with Ipswich Borough Council to secure this latest site acquisition.
“We look forward to investing in much needed new industrial product for this area, delivering all five units on speculative basis.
“It’s another example of how our considered and strategic approach to planning and construction can release prime development land.”
