The two frameworks will look to deliver water and wastewater asset investment over the next 10 years, and deliver on the water company’s drive to make substantial reductions in sewage overflows into watercourses.
Planned works will cover the AMP8 regulatory period running from April 2025 to March 2030, with options to extend to APM9.
Over this full 10-year period, Yorkshire Water plans to spend £1.5bn through its Non-Infrastructure Framework partners.
The Stormwater Overflow Alliance can expect £1.3bn of investment, amounting to £500m for AMP8, with a projected £800m for AMP9.
This will cover design, planning, management and delivery of jobs related to the sewage network, water distribution pipelines and other assets.
