Suppliers wanted on £683m waste power plant

Main contractor ACCIONA is looking to boost its supply chain on the Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at the £683m North London Heat and Power Project.

ACCIONA is working on behalf of the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) on the scheme and will be hosting its second Meet the Buyer event from 9.30am to 4pm on Wednesday, 7 February  to encourage suppliers of all sizes to submit interest in working on the project.

Suppliers from the following services are encouraged to attend:

  • Turbine Erection
  • Air Cooled Condenser Erection
  • Equipment Erection Balance of Plant  & piping
  • Stack & GRP Piping Erection
  • Cladding
  • Building services:
    • HVAC Building Services (+ electrical cabinet + earthing & bonding + louver + secondary steelwork + general MEP)
    • Lighting & Power Building Services
    • Communications, CCTV, Telephony & Data and Public Address
    • MS System Building Services
  • Insulation
  • Refractory insulation
  • Painting
  • Electrical
  • Instrument & Controls Installation

The event will be split into three separate sessions and at the start of each session ACCIONA will offer a brief presentation on the ERF Project, covering the construction process and key milestones, and explain the registration process to the ACCIONA Procur-e system.

Attending businesses will be able to meet with the ACCIONA Procurement team to discuss the advertised supply chain opportunities as part of the ERF project.

Suppliers will be able to request which session is most convenient through the registration form. Following completion of the form, suppliers will be contacted to confirm their registration and attendance at the event.
