Whelan brings over 25 years of construction experience to the remediation, groundworks and RC frames contractor.

He is a former Construction Director at Byrne Bros Formwork and joins Statom from the Australian Interspan group of companies where he was Managing Director.

In his new role at Statom Group Whelan will work closely with owners Stan Nikudinski and Tommy Brown who have overseen the firm’s rise to a £150m turnover business which recently bought tower crane hire specialist Trident Lifting Solutions Limited.
