The firm will replace Mitie which previously delivered integrated FM services for the broadcaster’s sites including its flagship sites in London, Cardiff, Glasgow, and MediaCityUK in Salford, employing around 780 staff.
The new FM deal sees the US-owned Emcor provide key services to properties at 93 sites across the UK.
The diverse range of properties and facilities include broadcast studios, offices, production, and technical facilities.
The contract provides property and workplace services management and delivery including building engineering services. energy management, building fabric services and statutory inspections.
The fixed price contract runs for an initial term of 5 years, with a further 5-year extension.
