Graham was confirmed as main contractor earlier this week on the £69m Stratford Mill project to regenerate a brownfield site with buildings rising from two to 12 storeys.

Now the first major subcontract package has been awarded with Winchmore due to start brickwork in the second quarter of next year.

The mixed-use Stratford Mill scheme will create 245 new Build To Rent homes and Winchmore is already working with Graham and its key supplier IG Masonry Support to get ahead of any potential design and buildability issues.

Winchmore chairman Tony Yianni said: “Early engagement with our clients and key supply chain partners continues to pay off immensely in the delivery of such large-scale schemes resulting in a more efficient and economical build for all those involved.”
