Thames Water anticipates its capital programme during AMP8 will be up to three times the size of its existing programme, as it seeks to address the twin challenge of ageing infrastructure and climate change on its assets.
The framework has sought to reduce supplier capacity risks as the industry ramps up investment and provide our suppliers with clarity about upcoming project requirements.
Firms will support work plans to improve, maintain water and sewage treatment works as well as the wider water and sewage network.
Preetinder Dhanoa, capital procurement business partner at Thames Water, said: “We are delighted to confirm these critical framework awards, which will be used to source asset engineering and capital professional services that are critical to the success of Thames Water’s AMP8 programme.
“This agreement will introduce a number of improvements to our previous arrangements, including driving value through innovation and partnership working.”
