He joins the Salford-based team from Bruntwood where he has worked for the past 10 years where he has helped deliver several transformational commercial and research & development schemes.
This includes Enterprise Wharf in the heart of Birmingham’s Knowledge Quarter, the £200m+ Birmingham Health Innovation Campus, Glasshouse at Alderley Park just outside of Manchester, and Begbroke Science Park in Oxfordshire.
Darby will now support the £100m Prestwich Village masterplan as well as the Innovation Zone in Salford, which is pivotal to the wider £2.5bn, 252-acre Crescent Salford masterplan.
Crescent Salford is being brought forward by ECF – the placemaking partnership between Muse, Legal & General, and Homes England, together with Salford City Council and University of Salford.
