Founded in 1961 by Frank Conway, FM Conway was owned by the Conway family. His granddaughter Joanne Conway took over the role of chair and CEO of the FM Conway Group following her father Michael Conway’s death in March 2022.

FM Conway is now part of VINCI Construction but will continue to operate as a standalone business.

VINCI said: “On completion of the agreement, Joanne Conway has stepped away from the company and longstanding board member, Andrew Hansen, will oversee the next phase of FM Conway’s evolution and growth within VINCI.”

Hansen joined FM Conway in 1998 and becomes  Managing Director.
