Excavator giant Takeuchi has hit the 50,000th sales milestone in the UK and Ireland.

The 50,000th Takeuchi, a TB217R mini excavator was sold by Takeuchi dealer in the south CBL to L-Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage as part of a recent order for over 100 machines, including the latest 3rd generation 3-Series excavators.

Lynch have been running Takeuchi excavators for decades. The first order in the year 2000 included the original Takeuchi TB175 both tracked and wheeled. Since then, Takeuchi excavators in all sorts of sizes have always been part of the Lynch fleet.

Chairman & Founder Liam Lynch said: “Our customers and service fitters liked the machine and that’s why over the years we have probably invested in more than 1000 Takeuchi units”

Charlotte Barford, Managing Director of CBL, said:  “This is a truly special moment for CBL, and we couldn’t be more delighted to share it with Lynch. The sale of the 50,000th Takeuchi mini excavator is a testament to the strength of the Takeuchi brand, the trust of our customers, and the dedication of the CBL team. At CBL, we’re passionate about supporting our customers with the very best equipment and service, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with Lynch and all our valued clients.”

Takeuchi UK Marketing Manager Holly Cooke said: “The 50k milestone is a testimony to just how far the Takeuchi brand has come in the UK and Ireland with a dedicated and professional dealer network.

“Since starting out in 1996 it took 20-years to pass 25k sales and then just nine more years to reach 50k, highlighting just how popular Takeuchi has become. We want to say thank you to all our Takeuchi customers over the years for trusting us with your investment”.
