Daredevil climbers scale world’s second tallest tower

A pair of thrill-seeking skyscraper climbers have scaled China’s Ping An International Finance Centre as construction approaches topping out.

Russian-Ukrainian daredevil Vitaly Raskalov and his friend Vadim Makhorov dodged the Shenzhen centre’s guards and climbed to its top to post breath-taking photos and footage of the act on the internet.

At a height of 660m, the 115-storey skyscraper will be the second tallest tower in the world behind the Burj Khalifa in Dubai once it officially opens in 2016.

Similar antics in the UK have caused contractors to step up security on sites, successfully halting the dangerous craze.
