The Preston based developer has received planning consent for a 416 bedroom student accommodation scheme in Manchester worth over £22m.
Its is the latest of several student accommodation jobs for the firm and brings total work won in this sector to around £80m.
The proposal for the six storey Moss Lane East buildings will see 416 en-suite study bedrooms arranged in clusters of between four and six, with a shared common room and kitchen per cluster.
Russ Worthington, Development Director at Worthington’s said: “We’re delighted to have gained permission and hope to start on site early in the New Year.
“Without the help and support of Manchester City Council and local ward members, this scheme would not have been possible and would have continued to be an underutilized area of Manchester City Centre.”
