The move follows confusion in the market in the wake of the collapse of asbestos removal contractor Caswell Environmental Services.

Caswell Surveyors was the specialist arm of the company but was a separate business and was unaffected by the liquidation of Caswell Environmental Services.

Bosses at Caswell Surveyors have now rebranded as Green Shield Environmental Ltd to avoid any further confusion.

A spokesman said: “The name change marks a fresh new start for us.

“As independent asbestos consultants we have always had a great reputation for providing good value, high quality asbestos consulting services especially pre-refurbishment and demolition surveys on commercial, retail and residential properties.

“We are extremely encouraged by the positive feedback from the clients and staff alike and are very optimistic about the outlook for the future.

“Green Shield Environmental is now operating out of new offices in Aston Herts.

“We are planning to implement a series of initiatives including new IT systems aimed at further improvement to service delivery and facilitating company expansion.”
