The steelwork contractor was successfully audited under the Steel Construction Building Information Modelling Charter by demonstrating compliance with PAS91-2013.
Associate Engineering and BIM Director James Bichard said “This accreditation is underpinned by a long term investment by the Group in BIM technology.
“We are very proud to be providing our clients with cutting edge BIM capability and leading the way in the steelwork industry. Level 3 is next on the horizon.”
Fellow steelwork specialist William Hare became the first firm in the sector and the first Tier 2 contractor in the supply chain to be BIM 2 certified last December.

Balfour Beatty, BAM, Bechtel, Interserve, Mace, Skanska and VolkerFitzpatrick are the only main contractors to reveal they are BIM2 Certificated with Shepherd Engineering Services and regional contractor Howard Russell also approved.
