The £30m building project will include a 250-seat lecture theatre, a range of seminar and teaching rooms and a café.

The facility will be comprised of two wings reaching a maximum height of seven storeys and will be located on Salisbury Road, next to the University’s bus interchange.

Southampton city council has already granted outline planning.

Building work is slated to start in February 2017 and complete in time for the new term start in 2018.
