The £26m scheme situated on Cedars Avenue in Mitcham will provide 169 new home – 72 homes built for private sale, with a further 64 for shared ownership and 33 for affordable rent.
Over four acres of the site will be retained as a new park at the heart of the development.
All properties will be built to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
The Brenley Park LLP joint venture aims to start construction in March 2011 with completion in 2013.
Brian Brady, managing director for Willmott Dixon Homes said: “We are delighted to be working again with Notting Hill Housing Group and the Homes and Communities Agency following our successful partnership on the Harmony development at Isleworth.
“The properties will create much needed homes for all types of people, irrespective of background or income. With great new open space, quality design and construction, plus superb transport links into the centre of London, we expect demand for the homes to be high”.
