Elliott has been granted planning permission for its latest scheme to redevelop Erskine Industrial Estate adjacent to Liverpool’s new Royal hospital.
The £100m mixed use development will see construction of a mix of key worker and student accommodation.
Elliott has mainly worked with local contractor Newry Construction on previous schemes.
But the Enquirer understands that the developer is sounding out other contractors as the size of its projects is increasing.
Elliott currently has three towers in Liverpool and two in Manchester in its development pipeline
One local contractor said: “Newry has worked with them a lot but the word is they are testing the market for other contractors as their developments increase in scale.”
The Erskine Industrial Estate revamp will consist of twin towers of up to 14-storeys.
Work is expected to start on site this summer.
