Betting Spy: FA Cup cheer for Spurs and Man City

It’s a real battle of the heavyweights in the FA Cup this weekend with the two form sides fancied to come out on top in a tasty looking 4/1 double.

Tottenham are in rude health and take on a Chelsea side starting to splutter a bit.

Stop Eden Hazard and you can stop the Blues at the moment as Diego Costa has his head turned by a pot of Chinese gold at the end of the season and a previously watertight defence is springing leaks.

Spurs meanwhile pose a threat all over the pitch and are playing better than anyone in the country at the moment.

Man City will simply have too much for an Arsenal side with all the resilience of an over-dunked digestive.

The Spurs/Man City double pays 4/1 which looks a decent price.

And if you fancy ramping that up to a 10/1 treble then look no further than Everton to win away at West Ham.

The Irons have somehow managed to pull away from the relegation zone.

But we are a poor side, lacking pace and badly organised.

Obviously Andy Carroll is injured again and our best back-up striker Diafra Sakho has managed to fall-out with the manager just hours after finally getting off the treatment table.

Goalkeeper Darren Randolph seems undroppable – unlike the countless crosses he spills on an average afternoon.

Romelu Lukaku is also aiming to score in his tenth straight game against West Ham which looks another nailed on bet in the anytime goalscorer market at 11/10.

As you can sense I won’t be approaching the London Stadium filled with optimism.

And I’m sure it will start raining during my trudge home after the inevitable defeat.
