Scores of contract wins during the month helped the firm establish a £200m gap between chasing contractors Laing O’Rourke and Sir Robert McAlpine.
According to construction information specialist Glenigan, wins during the month included a £43m office fit-out at South Colonnade in London’s Canary Wharf and a £25m office refurb at Lyric Square in Hammersmith for Luxembourg-based developer MP Kings Lyric.
Morgan Sindall is now credited with 342 new orders during the last 12 months, well ahead of the 29 and 35 secured by LOR and SRM during the same period.

Galliford Try picked up the honours for the highest value of secured work last month with a haul of 10 contracts worth an estimated £320m.
The biggest, secured by a Lagan/Galliford Try joint venture, was for a £135m hangar and airfield project at RAF Marham.
Galliford Try also bagged a £130m contract for phase 3 of Wandsworth Riverside for Fraser Property and a £45m job at Faslane, again for the MoD.
Among other big wins North Midland replaced Kier/Interserve on a £100m water project in Birmingham for Severn Trent.
