Its latest landmark project to dramatically reduce the amount of waste Lincolnshire sends to landfill has been led by Waste Recycling Group, which was selected to deliver the turnkey contract for the energy from waste plant.
Clugston is teamed up with specialist engineering contractor CNIM to deliver the £110m construction job.
Recently the pairing was also named preferred bidder for a similar project in Staffordshire being operated by Veolia.
Steve Radcliffe, managing director of Clugston Construction, said: “Together with our JV partner CNIM, we are delighted to have finalised the contract to design and build the EfW plant for WRG and Lincolnshire County Council.
“We have worked closely with our partner CNIM, WRG and Lincolnshire County Council for some time now on the development of this plant and it is exciting that we will be commencing construction very soon, especially as the scheme is close to our head office in Northern Lincolnshire.”
