The hotel is part of a £100m investment being made over six years into revamping its resorts.
The eight-storey development for Butlins Skyline will be L-shaped in plan, its upper levels reducing in footprint to create a series of steps on each wing.
Standing to the western side of the resort, the use of white render, balconies and curves will lend the building a nautical feel in keeping with its seaside location.
