Betting Spy: Man Utd, Everton and Fulham to land treble

Whenever there’s an international break sports pages are short of football news.

The big fella wants £200,000 a week you say? Well, well...
The big fella wants £200,000 a week you say? Well, well...

Luckily there are plenty of agents around to fill the void and stir up a story for their clients.

Latest in the frame is Marko Arnautovic’s agent Danijel Arnautovic – who as the eagle-eyed among you will have spotted is also his brother.

Danijel feels that Marko should be playing at a higher level than West Ham or at least earning £200,000 a week in East London.

That’s caused the usual howls of outrage about lack of loyalty and greed in the Premier League.

But to be honest Betting Spy could manage little more than a weary sigh and a Roger Moore-style raise of the eyebrow.

Loyalty will finally leave the stage at West Ham when Mark Noble hangs up his boots.

It’s a bit ridiculous to expect a player born in Vienna to have claret and blue blood in his veins.

And the league is so awash with TV cash now it has to go somewhere – and at the end of the day the players are the ones performing.

Now I like Arnie. He’s a strong lad with pace and skill.

But bigger names have left West Ham before and the club always survives.

Fans are becoming increasingly indifferent about the ever-changing cast of characters who wear their beloved shirts.

And that’s what could eventually puncture the success of the Premier League.

If supporters stop caring then things can turn pretty quickly.

But not this week so let’s have a look at making our own little slice of cash from the fixtures.

I’m going for a home win treble which pays out a shade under 4/1.

Everton look banker material against Cardiff and the same for Man United hosting a Crystal Palace side who can’t score.

The third leg is Fulham under new manager Claudio Ranieri to beat Southampton.

Sides always get a lift when a new boss comes in while the Saints are sounding and playing like the whole world is against them.

If those tips come in expect my sister to demand a massive pay rise for me next week.

Running total of all bets to a £10 stake for 2018/19 season: +£30.00
