The job involves demolition of existing buildings to make way for the courtyard block, which will provide around 150 apartments.
This development of one to three bedroom flats will include ground floor retail and parking and public realm improvements.
Interested builder have until just 22 August to express an interest to the Liverpool University Building Company.
Two firms will eventually be shortlisted from an expected field of six firms to work up final detailed designs before the winner submits for planning.

The investment is part of a £250m investment in expanding the University’s student accommodation.
