The Walthamstow Central Station scheme will include a Travelodge Hotel, 69 new homes including new affordable housing and retail units.

The Solum partnership between Kier Property and Network Rail was formed in 2008 to regenerate several railway stations in the South East of England.

Seven sites at Epsom, Enfield, Maidstone East, Twickenham, Walthamstow, Wembley and Guildford are earmarked for redevelopment under the 10-year, £500m venture.
