B&K is moving its regional office from Doxford Business Park to larger premises at Rainton Bridge Business Park in Sunderland where it now employs 70 staff directly.

The division now has a turnover of £100m and competes for projects across the North East and Scotland.

Regional Director, Alan Johansen, said: “Our time at Doxford has seen us evolve from working out of a couple of Portacabins, to moving into offices at Doxford and now requiring the larger facilities at Rainton Bridge.

“It has been a wrench to leave Doxford International Business Park, given that it represents such a highly successful period for us, however we are confident that the move to Rainton Bridge Business Park will help Bowmer & Kirkland have continued success in the North East and Scotland.”
