Designed by architect Glancy Nichols for Yardley-based developer Euro Property Investments, the slim 61-storey skyscraper will contain around 500 luxury flats.
Standing at 193m tall, it would be the pinnacle high rise in the emerging Broad Street cluster of tall buildings, and one of the tallest buildings in the UK, outside of London.
Contractor Sisk is presently building the next tallest residential tower for Moda Living, which will rise to 42 storeys.
Subject to receiving planning permission this year, work on 100 Broad Street could commence in 2021, with construction completed by 2024.
Located within the building’s glazed crown will be the highest altitude dining experience found in the UK outside of the capital with a sky lounge (above) and fine dining restaurant.
