The event is being organised by Constructionline and will give suppliers the chance to talk with eight leading clients and main contractors.

The free event will be attended by buyers from organisations including Walter Carefoot & Sons (Construction) Ltd, Oldham Council, Conlon and Places for People.

Michael Waddington, Client Relationship Manager from Constructionline, said: “In many cases local councils and other businesses want to give work to SMEs in their area, and in turn the contractors are eager to win these tenders but it’s often hard for each to gain access to one another.

“This event is designed to give local construction companies some valuable introductions as well as helping them to learn about upcoming work opportunities, and how best to win business from the buyers.”
