The work packages covering any builds from small £1m projects to larger £10m-plus contracts have been shared out among a dozen firms.

North East Procurement is a not for profit procurement body representing 13 housing association managing more than 100,000 homes.

The new build work will be carried out predominantly across the North East, North Yorkshire and the City of York.
