The 5-star, 202-room ‘Shangri-La At The Shard’ is the first new-build 5-star hotel development in central London in over a decade.

The high-rise hotel will be located on floors 34-52, with John Sisk believed to have been selected to carry out the fit-out.

Sweett will carry out contract administration, planning, logistics and risk management advice and quality monitoring.

Paul Nash, operations director and global head of hospitality at Sweett Group said: “We are delighted to have been selected by the Shangri-La Hotels Group to support them with the delivery of their first hotel in London.
