Construction will start in January on the contract, which is part of St Dunstan’s College’s wider plan to significantly redevelop its Catford site – which has stood since the independent school’s foundation in 1888.
An existing building will be demolished to make way for a new combined junior school, STEM building and Sixth Form Hub.
Designed by Bond Bryan, the new buildings will be sited adjacent to the existing historic Headmaster’s House and be connected by a glass atrium.
Adam Worrall, Director, Willmott Dixon in the London & South region, said phase one would see the new junior school built, while phase two would see the delivery of the STEM Centre and Sixth Form Hub.
