The housing association’s new housing strategy will see the business delivering at least 50% of its development programme as housing for sale and private rent to reinvest in providing additional affordable homes.

Mike Naylor, Development and Partnerships director at McLaren, said: “Joining the Hyde framework demonstrates McLaren’s continuing success and commitment to further growth in this sector.”

“It sits alongside other recent framework wins with registered providers such as Clarion and Places for People and means we can align our property and construction expertise to build much-needed homes in places where people want to live, work and thrive.”

Paul Cooke, Business Development Director of Thomas Sinden which won two lots, added: “As an organisation we have a great deal of expertise and experience delivering mixed tenure residential developments as well as commercial projects and look forward to working closely with Hyde, its subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver its planned development programme.”
