£300m London new-build housing deal winners

London housing association consortium, Connected Partnerships, has named the line-up of firms it will use to deliver a £300m programme of refurbishment and new build over the next four years.

The consortium made up of a three-way partnership between Octavia Housing, Origin Housing and Shepherds Bush Housing Group, has signed up most of the key London players with a dozen firms on its books to deliver projects valued at over £10m and 14 selected for smaller schemes.

Newcomers to the framework include: Ardmore, Mulalley, Midgard, Bouygues and Kier. While Allenbuild, Rydon, Wates and Willmott Dixon were among the bigger players to drop out from the previous panel of firms.

The Connected Partnership focuses primarily on new build accommodation for private rent, private sale, intermediate, shared ownership and affordable rent through both Connected-led and Section 106 schemes.
