Specialist structural and concrete repair contractor Composites Construction UK (CCUK) is on a recruitment drive as it anticipates a surge in business once the coronavirus crisis is over.

The company is offering training and recruitment opportunities for site staff at a time when many others are reducing their workforce due to Covid-19 uncertainty.

CCUK is looking for experienced site staff to work on concrete repairs and composite strengthening at a range of upcoming projects across the UK.

The roles are full time with competitive salary and travel expenses on offer, with training on composites available to solid candidates.

Managing director Darren Woodcock said: “Prior to this unprecedented situation, we were fortunate to be working on several high-profile concrete and carbon fibre strengthening projects at buildings and structures around the UK.

“While operations have slowed down and many sites have come to a standstill, we are anticipating that as soon as the government announces a relaxation of the country’s lockdown rules, we will be required to mobilise on several projects at once.

“This increase in workload will require additional resource and we are actively seeking candidates for site supervisor and operative roles to work nationally with some travel and overnight stays required.”

CCUK’s Jamie Dempster added: “This is a challenging time for everyone in our industry, but the message here is that as soon as we receive the green light, we must get back to business to help the industry recover and to kickstart the economy.

“To do this, we need reliable and experienced site staff, and in exchange we will provide a competitive salary and benefits.”
