Winvic topped the March awards on the strength of securing a major £250m logistic hub near junction 11 of the M42 for IM Properties, which is developing the Leicestershire scheme on behalf of Jaguar.
According to estimates by information specialist Glenigan, the order take lifted Winvic up the annualised rankings into the top 15.
The annualised leagues were little changed by the March awards with Morgan Sindall still in pole position, now closely challenged by Kier, with BAM rising to nudge Willmott Dixon out of third place.

BAM improved its 12-month haul helped last month by a £120m co-living scheme in Manchester for Vita/Select and a £70m mental health project in the London Borough of Camden.
Among the other big monthly awards, Byrne Group pulled off a major coup sealing a £150m Santander Digital Hub in Milton Keynes.
ISG secured a £120m logistics park at the site of former Littlebrook Power Station for Bericote/Tritax, while VolkerWessels landed £104m warehouse project at Magna Park in Lutterworth.
In the north west, Willmott Dixon was confirmed for the £120m transport interchange project in Stockport for local council and TfGM.
