Staffordshire based J&P Carpentry and Joinery went into administration on May 18.
Business advisory firm FRP confirmed it has now completed the pre-pack sale of the business in a deal that has saved 19 jobs.
FRP SAID: “The company traded as a designer and manufacturer of bespoke carpentry and joinery components supplied into national building contractors.
“The administrators were appointed on 18 May 2020 after the business faced margin pressures and cashflow difficulties in recent months amidst a competitive and challenging trading environment.
“Upon appointment, a pre-pack transaction was completed with JPC Construction (Midlands) Limited, for the business and certain assets. All 19 staff have been TUPE-transferred.”
Companies House records shows that last month the J&P directors renamed a dormant micro company called JPC Doorsets as JPC Construction (Midlands).
