The new facility will provide space for mental health and neurodevelopmental outpatient facilities and a 12-bed specialist inpatient mental health unit, alongside other cross dependent health services.
Enabling works start this month, with the facility due for completion in 2021.
Leigh Carter, Healthcare Lead for Galliford Try North West, said: “We understand the importance of providing a facility that is both functional, but attractive, and we have been challenged to design and build a facility that will provide the users with a first-class working environment and deliver an excellent patient experience.”
Galliford Try secured the work through the Procure Partnerships Framework.
